Wotans Krieger Volume 4: A Final Blast on the Giallarhorn

IN this, our fourth and final volume on the writings of Wotans Krieger, the author blends Northern European history and mythology with the increasingly dystopian realities of living and practising as a heathen in the twenty-first century. With an eye for detail, particularly in relation to his ability to decipher the intricate metaphor, psychology and linguistics concealed within our folk heritage, Wotans Krieger offers his readers another excellent insight into the mysteries that lie just beneath the surface of our reality. Chapters include A Remodelling of Future Teutonic Society and the Rejection of the State Idea; USA, Israel and the Pilgrim Fathers Complex; The Mark of the Beast and the Microchip; The Survival of the Germanic Caste System in Late-Medieval Rural England; Reverence for the Gods; A Dream of the Ancestors and the Mask of Odin, An Update; Along the Wodenist Path by Wulf Inessunu, A Review; White Shariah, A Personal View; American Odinism and the Dangers of Monotheism; A Dream of Bind Runes and The Wanderer; Smart Meters and Population Control; Smart Phones, the World Wide Web and the Mark of the Beast; The Church of England, A Capitalist Enterprise; The Use of Genetic Testing in Ancestral Research; Church of England Schools Promoting the Mark of the Beast; Vattisen Yaly, the Ethnic Religion of the Chuvash; The Cashless Society, Smartphones and the Bilderbergers; More on DNA Testing and Ancestral Research; Cheddar Man, A Tool of Propaganda; Attila, An Aryan Archetype?; Constitutional Monarchy and Democracy, A Contradiction in Terms; Biometric Bank Cards and Proposals for UK-wide and EU- wide ID; The Eye of Sauron, the Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Bill 2018; Garma, Ragnarok and the New Aryan Man; Gimle, the Future Abode of Odin's Chosen; American Circumcision, An Indication of its Biblical Psychosis and the Pilgrim Fathers' Complex; Are the Gods Merely Archetypes?; The Relationship Between the Gothic *Iggws, Yngvi-Freyr and Kristos; Reverence for the Gods Revisited; and What Have They Done to the Earth?

> > MEET THE AUTHOR > > Wotans Krieger is now in his early-60s and started his mystical search as a child, being given a copy of the Bible by his eldest brother whilst sick with measles. As a young man in the 70s and early 80s he devoted himself to a study of the Biblical scriptures and esoteric Christian literature until the death of his German mother, a spiritualist medium, in 1989. Her death caused him to gradually reassess and reject Christianity as he spent several years exploring his maternal German heritage, studying German history, the writings of Nietzsche and teaching himself the basics of German to sit various public examinations and eventually obtaining a diploma from the Institute of Linguists. Whilst he immersed himself in Wagnerian opera he discovered the emotional pull of the Germanic gods which led him into a thorough study of mythology and the runes. In other words, he heard the 'call of the gods'. Around this time he received a mailshot from Woden's Folk and this led to his current 16-year association with them.

Coronavirus and the Atomisation of Man

Julius Evola and to a certain extent Edred Thorsson (Stephen Edred Flowers, PhD) refer to the process of atomisation in many of their works. In this modern age man is no longer viewed as a member of a community but as an individual. Of course we are all individuals but we all exist as members of a larger collective. The atomisation of man in Europe has its origins in the period of Christianisation where the Indo-European caste systems began to disintegrate and this process was completed with start of the industrial revolution. The industrial revolution overturned what was left of the caste system in rural areas and we see the beginning of the polarisation of society between the capitalist factory owner and the proletariat. This polarisation then led to the emergence of capitalism and Marxism.

Anyone who wishes to gain insight into polarisation at its most extreme need look no further than the United States of America, a country which lacks caste and race and is the epitome of degeneracy (the term used primarily but not exclusively in an Evolian sense). I would refer my readers to Evola's essay American "Civilization" (published in Hitler and the Secret Societies. A Collection of Writings, 2019, Artemis Press). The North 'American' is the ultimate example of the democratised and atomised man and this is the form of man which is now developing in western Europe. This atomisation helps to explain why the United States is beginning to implode.

My observations of the behaviour of a large minority of people during the lockdown here in England confirms my conclusions that atomisation of the average Englishman is well underway. We have seen large gatherings of demonstrators in London last weekend protesting over the death of an African-American at the hands of a police officer. Any outpouring of anger concerning that death should be exhibited in the United States, where the incident happened, not in England, a country whose capital is 4,009 miles away from Minneapolis, where the deed occurred! Indeed any such protest should not have occurred during a pandemic lockdown which has already cost over 40,000, probably over 50,000 lives! What is even more incredulous is that the police allowed the demonstration to go ahead. Instead people should have been charged with breaking the lockdown rules.

The very fact that covidiots feel that they could and should have congregated on beaches, held street parties and secret 'raves' during the pandemic demonstrates two things to me: 1. the general level of intellectual ability of the population is quite low (which can be seen by the poor grammar and diction of most Coronavirus deniers posting comments on Youtube) and 2. the complete lack of regard for the health of others. By breaking the lockdown rules people are willfully disregarding public health and potentially spreading a virus. They may feel relatively immune to the disease if they are under 50 and have no health problems but that demonstrates their ignorance (the virus can kill anyone) and utter contempt for the health and lives of other people. This latter point demonstrates my thesis that the average Englishman is now almost completely atomised, a law unto himself with no feelings of responsibility towards his fellow man.

My Thoughts on Tribalism and the Rejection of the Concept of the Nation State

For a number of years now I have come to gradually reject the concept of the 'nation' as a desirable organisational working model, in favour of tribalism, a far more ancient and authentic way for man to organise himself collectively. My antipathy towards the concept of the 'nation' is based upon the historical fact that pre-Christian Germanic man lived in clans and tribes, not within nation states. This held true also for the Celtic peoples. That does not deny the reality of das Volk (Old English folc, Old Norse folk) in terms of a wider human identity but in reality our pre-Christian ancestors did not think in 'national' or nationalistic terms. Indeed often a given Germanic tribe would enter into a temporary alliance with a Celtic tribe in order to fight or resist an opposing Germanic tribe. They felt no contradiction in doing so. Their loyalties first and foremost were to the clan, then to the tribe.

The Term 'nation' is to be found in the German language; die Nation, as an alternative to das Volk but it is of alien, Latin derivation (natio-'I am born') and one which was not used by 19th and 20th century folkish thinkers and ideologists. 'Volk' has a more organic and German feel than 'Nation'. Indeed I would encourage my English readers to use the term folc in preference to the alien 'nation'. Folc and Volk are related but not absolutely identical terms. A folc can of course exist without a nation state as is the case today with England.

Both Germanic and Celtic tribes consisted of smaller units called clans that had some kind of common identity, a common origin myth. The clans in turn consisted of units of interrelated families. Our ancestors for reasons of biological health married outside of their clans but only with other clans that were part of the same tribe. This helped to create and maintain a consistent biological unity, identity and avoid inbreeding.

Whilst my knowledge of German, Germanic and Celtic history made me aware that tribalism was more ancient and authentic than nationalism it did not explain my general reluctance to consider myself as a 'nationalist' and indeed I have never claimed to be one, contrary to the claims made by certain websites. It is only with my recent reading of Edred Thorsson's Re-tribalise Now! A Step-by-Step Guide to Cultural Renewal (2020, Arcana Europa Media) that I fully understood the deeper reasons for my antipathy towards nationalism and the 'nation state' concept. Why I did not understand this before I do not know but thanks to Edred's book I can now more fully articulate my feelings for the very first time.

It is no coincidence that the creation of the nation state of England coincides with the spread of Christianity. The dream of a united England was that of King Alfred of Wessex (847/849-899), commonly called by the misnomer Alfred the 'Great'. He is not as many wrongly assume, the first king of England but he did call himself the King of the Anglo-Saxons which of course in reality he wasn't. He had grandiose ideas about forming a single kingdom out of the Anglo-Saxon heptarchy under him and his descendants. The first king of all England was in fact Aethelstan (c. 899-939) from 927-939, a grandson of Alfred.

The centralisation of political power goes hand in glove with the centralisation of religion. The Church pushed for the centralisation of political power in order to extend their control and primacy over the religious life of the Anglo-Saxons. Tribes were a threat to political and religious centralisation. Edred makes clear in his book that the "traditional tribal structures of ancient Europe were targeted for destruction, first by the Roman Empire and then by its successor, the Roman Catholic Church." He points out that tribal loyalties were more important to people than their loyalty to the Church.

The move from tribes to tribal confederations (Saxons and Franks) to 'nations' (and sometimes to empires) coincided with the introduction of Christianity. The christianisation of Norway and the emergence of a king of ALL Norway is one such example in addition to the English one. The temporal power of the king was used to suppress heathenism and to force the outward conversion of the king's subjects to the alien religion of Christianity. The king thus betrayed his gods, ancestors and fellow countrymen. This is why I contend that just as we reject the alien religion of Christianity we must reject the alien and Christian concept of the 'nation state'. It is not only too closely tied to Christianity but it was a willing tool in the eradication of heathen religions and a means of spreading that pernicious religion around the world. It is also responsible for two unnecessary world wars and many European ones.

In a future article I will give some suggestions as to how we may move away from the concept of 'nation' to that of tribe and clan. For the benefit of my foreign readers England has not been a 'nation state' since the Acts of Union with Scotland in 1707.

Bifrost; a Rainbow Bridge?

Karl Georg Zschaetzsch makes the interesting observation in his Atlantis. Die Urheimat der Arier (Atlantis. The Original Home of the Aryans), that the bridge linking Midgarth with Asgarth is not a rainbow bridge but consists of only three colours, red, white and black (the colours of the Prussian and old German flag):

(page 24)

My translation:

"According to Plato the bridge was a hundred feet wide and built out of white, black and red stones. This bridge is also referred to in the Nordic tradition under the name Bifrost. It is said about it: 'it has three colours and is very strong and made with more artistry and understanding than other works.' In the memory of the Aryans who emigrated to the north the bridge Bifrost was so beautiful and and gloriously colourful as the rainbow. In the course of time, when the correct meaning of the traditions were more and more forgotten, then the bridge, which was 'as beautiful as the rainbow', was mistaken for the rainbow itself. In the Nordic tradition it is further said: 'That the gods made a bridge from heaven to earth, which is called Bifrost.' "

My readers will no doubt note that the reference to Plato concerns his works on Atlantis; Timaeus and Critias. Plato does indeed tell us that the walls of Atlantis were constructed of red, white and black stones, covered with brass, tin and orichalcum. People have speculated what kind of metal orichalcum was. It may have been platinum or some other type of alloy. We are not told what kind of stone the bridges in Atlantis were constructed of so Zschaetzsch is clearly presuming that they were made of the same kind of stone as the walls. It is a reasonable hypothesis.

Re-reading the passage in Zschaetzsch's book caused me to read again the passages relating to Bifrost in both of the Eddas. In the Poetic (Elder) Edda it is referred to as Bilrost and no description is given concerning it. More detailed information is to be found in the Prose (Younger) Edda where it is called Bifrost. In Gylfaginning High says to Gangleri: "You must have seen it, maybe it is what you call the rainbow. It has three colours and great strength and is built with art and skill to a greater extent than other constructions."
(Translated by Anthony Faulkes, published by Everyman, 1987)

In modern artwork Bifrost is usually depicted as a rainbow bridge and this is no doubt due to that single reference in Gylfaginning to its appearance. Indeed the passage itself is contradictory; having only three colours and yet compared to the rainbow. The etymology of Bifrost-'swaying road to heaven' (see Dictionary of Northern Mythology, Rudolf Simek) is not particularly helpful but Simek suggests that its earlier name, Bilrost means either 'the fleetingly glimpsed rainbow' or 'the multi-coloured way' but favours the former. An alternative name in Gylfaginning 4 is Asbru; 'bridge of the Aesir'.We have to conclude that there is no clear answer to this puzzle but the reference to three colours in Gylfaginning cannot be ignored and on that basis I feel that there is merit in Zschaetzsch's argument.

Most students of Norse mythology will notice the prevalence of the number 3 in the Eddas. This was noted especially by Lionel Fanthorpe in his Mysteries and Secrets of Numerology, 2013. There are of course 3 primary colours in light: red, green and blue but this does not explain the Atlantis-Bifrost connection. White, red and black are the representative colours of the Germanic caste system (see page 40, The Indo-Europeans by Professor Jean Haudry). As I have previously noted, these 3 colours are present in the old Prussian and German flag as well as the flags of other Indo-European founded countries. Thus finding these colours in the construction of the walls of Atlantis helps to reinforce the Atlantis-Aryan connection which is the basic premise of Zschaetzsch's book.

The Coming Coronavirus Second Wave and My Premonition

After reading about reports of covidiots holding VE day street parties across the United Kingdom I decided to air my views further on the pandemic on my blog. Let me remind my readers that I was given a premonition in late 2019 in the form of a very strange dream. You can read about this on A Dream From Late 2019 Concerning Mass Death

Let me recap the essential elements of my dream! I saw piles of corpses filling the streets and police helicopters in the skies above. I knew instinctively that these people did not die of misadventure of any kind but from natural causes of some description. At the time of the dream there was no mention of Coronavirus or any epidemic in China in the news. A month or two later the whole thing kicked off in Wuhan, China. Even then I did not suspect that the virus would spread around the world and cause a global pandemic. It was only in mid March 2020 that I realised that my strange dream (which meant nothing at the time) was a premonition. Indeed there are many countries such as Ecuador and Iran where corpses are literally piling up. This has not happened yet in the United Kingdom, although the death toll is the highest in Europe. It could be argued that in the terms of more than 30,000 deaths that they are indeed 'piling up', but I believe that by the end of 2020 they will literally be piling up when the apparently inevitable second wave will have hit the United Kingdom.

The Prime Minister announced some easing of the lockdown yesterday evening, causing great confusion in the minds of everyone, not least his own Cabinet! His replacement of the 'stay at home, save lives' message with 'stay alert', a vague and ineffectual slogan, was effectively a green light for less disciplined members of our society to go ahead and do their own thing. Commuters were seen cramming together like sardines in underground trains in London. Irresponsible fools held street parties which police officers, risking their own lives had to interrupt, resulting in the arrests of many drunken fools, with many of these scum spitting and coughing in the faces of officers. NHS consultants, having witnessed death on a daily basis and the horrors of this ravaging disease first hand, took to Twitter to voice their alarm, anger and frustration. Likewise a police Chief Superintendent voiced his concern after recovering from a coma caused by the virus. This man was under 50 and in good health, thus demonstrating that anyone can be a victim.

Coronavirus is not only affecting people over the age of 50 and those with health problems but the young and healthy as well. There are plenty of examples of such cases for people to research on the internet should you question my word. Despite the fact that this is a latter day plague, the members of the David Icke fan base are out in force on social media platforms, particularly Youtube, the haven of many fools who trot out their unscientific conspiracy theories like confetti, and the largely half educated masses soak up their propaganda like a sponge. This is particularly the case with the so-called 'right'. One tends to find that such people will favour more than one conspiracy theory and often they tend to follow a similar pattern. It does not surprise me that many who contend that Coronavirus is either a 'hoax' or 'man-made' also tend to deny the reality of climate change (whether man-made or not) or believe that the likes of 'Tommy Robinson' or Melanie Shaw are being 'persecuted' by the establishment. Usually these people favour the same theories and form a veritable cohort of sorts. They are predictable, easily read psychologically and fodder for manipulation.

I will say this one more time: I agree that governments may very well attempt to use the pandemic as an opportunity to unleash yet more electronic surveillance on their populations and are complicit in the introduction of the cashless society. However, that in itself cannot be used as an argument to deny the reality of the Coronavirus or its deadly nature. In the United Kingdom about 15% of people infected with the virus have died and it is an horrific way to die. Some conspiracy theorists talk of losing their 'liberties' due to the measures imposed by the government. I see no such loss of liberties. People are not under house arrest; they have been free to go to work if necessary, go shopping for essentials, obtain medicine and medical treatment, enjoy outdoor exercise and provide care to others. Many of these people in normal circumstances would have welcomed several months at home, resting. These very same people who lecture the rest of us about the value of 'family' find that they cannot after all bear being in the presence of their 'loved ones' for any extended period of time! One sees the same thing at Yule and at funerals! Hypocrisy at its very best!

Whilst I firmly believe that my dream was a premonition I hope that I am proven wrong over the course of time. The issue of free will and fate and their interaction, as with the nornir of Norse mythology, are complicated issues. All one can do is to be faithful to the message that the gods give us as individuals. I believe that this premonition emanates from the gods. If I fail to deliver its message then I will have demonstrated disobedience to the gods. My priority is and always has been the gods. The feelings of others about the message is irrelevant. All I can do is speak the message. I am not responsible for the feelings, actions or inaction of others: they will answer for that themselves before the judgement seat of the gods. The nornir and the gods knew that I would be receptive to, and not dismiss their message. They also knew that I would speak the message without fear or favour.

Another characteristic that the naysayers on this issue generally share in common is their lack of a scientific education. I am not a scientist. It is thus reasonable for me to take note of and rely upon the best judgement of scientists and physicians. It is the height of sheer hubris for someone lacking a scientific education to venture to debate with scientists as if they were their equals. I have also observed that the vast majority of the deniers tend to be below the age of 50 and generally in good health. These are the very same people that are at the least risk (apart from children) from the virus but are quite prepared to challenge the government's measures, which are designed to keep those of us who are at greater risk, safe! They fail to see the questionable moral stance that they are taking.

There are some who believe that by flouting the government's guidelines they are showing themselves worthy of Valhalla, failing to see that their only reward will be a painful, suffocating straw death. Bravery must not be confused with foolishness and being reckless with one's life. Julius Evola took this attitude when 'braving' an air raid in Vienna in 1945, resulting in the paralysis of his lower body for the rest of his life. He literally tempted fate. This is what happens when you deliberately tempt the nornir. Our ancestors survived long enough to breed by not recklessly risking their lives to prove a foolish point. This is the behaviour expected of children and young fools. We need to be guided less by our testosterone and more by the intelligence that All-Father has given us. Unfortunately this is a lesson that the young usually must learn for themselves; the hard way. Some never learn this lesson!

Germany, South Korea and China, who all recently eased their lockdown measures are now experiencing what appears to be a second wave. The same thing can and I feel will happen in this country within the next one to two months. If this happens then the final death toll will not be in the tens of thousands but the hundreds of thousands: all because of the stupidity and the arrogance of the masses.

The Practice of Senicide, Valhalla Cliffs, Odin Ponds and the Hyperboreans

A few years ago whilst reading Origins of English History (1882) by Charles Isaac Elton I came across a curious passage relating to the practice of senicide (killing of the elderly). Senicide appears to have been carried out not only in pre-Christian times but:

"Even in comparatively modern times the Swedes and Pomeranians killed their old people in the way which was indicated in the passages quoted above". (page 91)

Pomerania is an historical religion which is situated on the southern shore of the Baltic sea in modern day Poland and Germany. The name is preserved in the modern German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. A recent update of my autosomal DNA on LivingDNA has finally found * most but not all of my maternal ancestral DNA which originates from 3 main areas of German settlement in Europe; southern, northwestern and northeastern Germanic DNA. The latter pertains to the geographical area of Pomerania; so who knows, maybe my ancestors practised this custom!

There appears to have been two main forms of killing the elderly, via use of the 'family club' and jumping off the 'Valhalla cliffs' down to the 'Odin pond' below. Senicide appears to have been more common in times of famine which caused family units to make hard choices in terms of who should be allowed to survive. Mr Elton tells us that:

"One of the family clubs is said to be still preserved at a farm in East Gothland." (page 91)

Being beaten to death is obviously a far harsher form of senicide than jumping off a cliff and it appears that in the latter case this was usually a voluntary practice. An alternate and Swedish name for the Valhalla cliffs is attestupa (kin/clan precipice). Apparently ritual forms of senicide are said to have taken place during prehistoric times when the elderly were no longer able to either support themselves or assist their families. The use of the term attestupa dates back to the 17th century in Sweden and is based upon the 13th century Gautreks Saga about the legendary king Gautrek. In one part of the saga members of a particular family kill themselves by jumping off their family cliff. Whilst many modern scholars doubt the existence of these Valhalla cliffs they nevertheless persist in folklore. We should take what modern scholars have to say about the past with a pinch of salt when their research conflicts with ancient writings, folkore and oral traditions which are usually found to be quite reliable. Many modern academics are far from neutral with their research and are often guided by political instincts, often rooted in cultural Marxism.

"'Here by our home', says the hero, 'is Gillings-rock: we call it the family-cliff, because there we lessen the number of family when evil fortune comes. There all our fathers went to Odin without any stroke of disease. The old folk have free access to that happy spot, and we ought to be put to no further trouble or expense about them. The children push the father and mother from the rock, and send them with joy and gladness on their journey to Odin." (page 91)

The existence of these Valhalla cliffs is confirmed by Pliny the Elder in his The Natural History:

"Three such cliffs in West-Gothland and Bleking still bear the latter name, and to another the remarkable statement attaches, that the people, after dances and sports, threw themselves headlong from its top into the lake, as the ancients relate of the Hyperboreans and Scythians. (iv.12)

Sir Laurence Gomme in his Folklore as an Historical Science, 66-78 refers to some houses in Silesia and Saxony where a mallet hangs in front of the houses. In one example at Osnabrueck there is also the following inscription:

"Wer den Kindern gibt das Brodt
            And selber dabei leidet Noth,

Den schlagt mit dieser Kettle todt."

My translation:

"Who gives bread to the children,
            And thereby suffers need himself

With this mallet strike him dead."

Procopius relates in his The Wars that the Heruli burned their elderly and sick after fastening them to a stack of wood and stabbing them to death. Senicide is historically confined not just to the northern Germanic world but to other parts of Europe, India and also Japan. In ancient Rome people reaching 60 were said to be thrown from a bridge or used as human sacrifices to the gods. (Old Age in the Roman World, Tim G Parkin, 2003)  Mr Parkin also tells us that in ancient Greece when the Athenians besieged the island of Keos in the Aegian Sea the inhabitants voted that all the elderly over the age of 60 should commit suicide by drinking hemlock. Another case was on the island of Sardinia where 70 year old fathers were sacrificed by their sons to the God of the Harvest, Cronus, the leader of the Titans.

The practice of senicide may be traced further back to the Hyperboreans who practised 'happy suicides:

"Their habitations be in woods and groves, where they worship the gods both by themselves and in companies and congregations. No discord know they. No sickness are they acquainted with. They die only when they have lived long enough: for when the aged have made good cheere, and anoynted their bodies with sweet ointments, they leape off a certain rocke into the sea. This kind of sepulture is of all others the most happie." (The Hyperboreans, Hecataeus, quoted by Elton, page 90)

It is clear that in the case of the Hyperboreans senicide was voluntary and entered into as a means of avoiding age-related sickness or when the elderly had finally tired of life. The practice was also clearly ritualistic and the method a forerunner of the so-called Valhalla cliffs and Odin ponds. Who were these 'Hyperboreans'? The ancients believed that they were a race of 'giants' who lived 'beyond the north wind.'

"Behind the Rhipoean hills and beyond the North Pole there is a blessed and happie people, if we may believe it, whom they call Hyperboreans, who live exceeding long, and many fables and strange wonders are reported of them. In this tract are supposed to be two points or poles about which the world turneth about, and the verie ends of the heaven's revolution. For six months together they have one entire day, and night as longe, when the sun is cleane turned from them. Once in the year, namely, at our midsummer, when the Sun entereth Cancer, the Sun riseth with them, and once likewise it setteth, even in mid-winter with us, when the Sun entereth Capricorn. The countrie is open upon the Sun, of a blissful and pleasant temperature, void of all noisome wind and hurtful aire." (The Hyperboreans, Hecateus, quoted by Elton, page 90)

It is clear that these Hyperboreans resided in the area of the Arctic at a time when the climate was temperate and the area covered by forests and rich in wildlife. This was the original home of the Proto-Indo-Europeans (the Aryans) before their dispersal. (See The Arctic Home in the Vedas, 1903 by B.G. Tilak) Echoes of this original Hyperborean arctic home are to be found in the recorded mythologies of many of the Indo-European peoples, including the Vedas and the Avesta. The whole subject of Hyperborea and its place in prehistory and geography will be dealt with in far more detail in a future essay (the gods willing!).

Returning to the subjects of the Valhalla cliffs and the Odin ponds:

"The situation of several of these 'Valhalla Cliffs' is still well known in Sweden. The lakes, which stretch below, were called 'Valhalla-meres' or 'Odin-ponds'. 'The old people, after dances and sports, threw themselves into the lake, as the ancients related of the Hyperboreans': but if an old Norseman became too frail to travel to the cliff, his kinsmen would save him the disgrace of 'dying like a cow in the straw', and would beat him to death with 'the family-club'. Similar stories are told of the Heruli in the dark forests of Poland'; and among the Prussians 'all the daughters except one were destroyed in infancy or sold, and the aged and infirm, the sick and the deformed, were unhesitatingly put to death': practices as remote from the poetry of the Greek description as from the reverence for the parents' authority which might have perhaps been expected from descendants of 'the Aryan household.'" (page 92)

Mr Elton quotes an example of the brutal practice of clubbing from  Conversion of the Slavs, Maclear where:

"A Count Schulenberg rescued an old man who was being beaten to death by his sons at a place called Jammerholz, or 'woeful wood'; and the intended victim lived as a the Count's hall-porter for twenty years after his rescue. A Countess of Mansfeld, in the 14th century, is said to have saved the life of an old man on the Lueneberg Heath under similar circumstances." (p.92)

Here in England it was a common practice that when the old were lying on their death beds, in order to save them from any unnecessary suffering the family physician would be called for and the patient would be administered a 'little something' to 'help them on their way'. Occasionally a pillow would be laid gently over their head as an alternative.

* This is due to their recent 'German Project' which involved collecting and expanding their continental Germanic DNA database. I will expect my German DNA to increase in percentages as their database expands.

Further Thoughts on Coronavirus and the Lockdown

The Prime Minister is due to chair a meeting with his cabinet this afternoon regarding a potential easing of certain aspects of the lockdown. Some commentators anticipate that some lifting of restrictions will occur as early as next week. If this were to happen then this would in my opinion be a grave mistake, grave being the operative word. The government has been criticised internationally for introducing the lockdown too late. It will compound this error further if it decides to end or ease the lockdown too early.

The number of new cases being reported in the United Kingdom is still in the thousands and the death toll has started to increase again. Indeed there were 6111 new cases and 649 more deaths reported yesterday. These should be taken as warning signals by the government but it is clear that they have other priorities as they face pressure from big business-their paymasters to lift the lockdown. Added to this is the pressure that they are facing from their electorate who hypocritically criticised the government in February and March for their inaction and are now complaining about being under 'house arrest'! In situations like this I can almost pity the Prime Minister as whatever decision he takes will be unpopular in some quarters.

For the benefit of my many international readers no one is under 'house arrest' in the United Kingdom. People are free to travel to work, to go shopping, to exercise or attend medical appointments. What is forbidden is taking unnecessary journeys outside of these guidelines and gathering in groups of more than two people who do not share the same household. Social distancing of being at least 6ft apart is encouraged both outside and in shops. Whenever I have needed to walk to the shops or to town I have encountered no problems with the police.

Prior to the lockdown being implemented I started to decrease my use of public transport as buses are a hotbed of contamination, not just from Coronavirus but from colds, flu and other viruses with people coughing and spluttering and not placing their hand in front of their mouth. I started to walk to my part time job there and back twice a day, taking me over 2 hours a day, despite suffering from arthritis in my knees. I built up a certain amount of fitness in preparation for not using the buses at all. I also started to wear a face mask and practiced social distancing before the public were told to do this. Thus far this has kept me contamination free.

I have noticed that on social media platforms such as Youtube there are posters advocating the breaking of the lockdown rules which in itself is an incitement to break the law with some idiots boasting that they are coming and going as they please, visiting people that they do not live with. Such people genuinely deserve to be infected with this virus but sadly they will infect other innocent people in the process.

I am one of the few commentators in the folkish movement who still believes that the Coronavirus pandemic is genuine. Many others are attempting to deny the reality of the virus, claiming that it is either a 'hoax' or greatly exaggerated. Some attempt to interpret the statistics (albeit with a biased intention) or will just simply venture forth their worthless and unsubstantiated opinions without even bothering to refer to statistical evidence. Take this from someone who has had inside knowledge over the decades: government statistics are never interpreted in a vacuum. They are always interpreted with a biased intention. It is the old concept of is the 'glass half full' or 'half empty', to put the matter in simplistic terms. To genuinely interpret statistics we must do so as far as we can without a biased intention. Instead the majority of people will approach the interpretation of statistics with an intention of 'proving' their pet theory. This is subjective and in many ways natural and common place but it is not objective or scientific.

Whilst I believe that this virus is real and dangerous I DO believe that the government of both this country and those of other countries will use the present crisis to extend further the surveillance state and hasten the introduction of the cashless society. These two things do not and should not infer that the pandemic is a hoax but governments, global capitalists and banks have their own agenda on the back of this. Shops are encouraging people to pay without using cash and governments encouraging their populations to 'download the app' are examples of this. Thankfully I do not and never have owned a 'smart' phone and I have no intention of ever having one. Apart from the obvious concerns about privacy and state surveillance I would not have the capability of using one. I am a technophobe, brought into the world in the era of black and white television, 2 channels and cars with starting handles. I suffer from essential tremors in my hands for which I take medication and it now takes me about 10 minutes to type and send a text message. The other day it took me about 2 hours to work out how to switch my mobile phone with big buttons on, despite having it for several years!

For years now I have argued that the introduction of the 'smart' phone is an aspect of the 'mark of the beast' referred to in Revelation 13:16-17:

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."  (Authorised King James Version)

I reiterate that the 'smart phone' is an aspect of the mark of the beast but it is not the final version as the real mark will be contained within the body of a person. This is the first stage. There have been suggestions by some that unless one has a  'smart' phone and downloads the 'app' one may not be able to continue with going about one's usual everyday life. I do not believe this. Apart from the fact that not everybody has a  'smart' phone it is too early at this stage for any western government to attempt to introduce any such draconian measures as people will simply not co-operate. However this is a useful opportunity for governments to measure the compliance of a population in preparation for further conditioning (I use the term in the sense of mass suggestion, a form of hypnosis).

Whilst I am fully aware of the agenda of governments, global capitalists and banks I must remind my readers of my position on the virus, that I believe that it is real and deadly, especially for those with certain health problems (e.g. asthma) and those over the age of 50. Let me quote some statistics for you at this juncture! The potential for death from Coronavirus at the age of 50 is 20 times that of a 20 year old, 8 times that of a 30 year old and 3 times that of a 40 year old. At age 60 the death rate is 2.5 times that of  50 year old, 8 times that of a 40 year old, over 20 times that of a  30 year old and over 72 times that of a 20 year old! See: https://blogs.lse.ac.uk/businessreview/2020/04/09/adjusting- covid-19-expectations-to-the-age-profile-of-deaths/ I must point out that these are global statistics and of course will vary from one country to another.

My readers may recall that the World Health Organisation encouraged several months ago that anyone over the age of 60 should shield themselves and avoid public places. However the government of the United Kingdom ignored this advice and focused purely on people over 70. They did so not for any scientific or medical reasons but because many people in their 50s and to a lesser degree in their 60s, still work and their objective was safeguarding the economy first, not people. In the light of this any easing of the lockdown that may take place next week will not be for the benefit of the public but for the safeguarding of the wealth of the 1%. However the 99% have since 2008 been conditioned by the government into believing that it is THEY who are responsible for reimbursing any lost wealth of the 1%. That strategy will continue because the majority of the people are extremely easy to manipulate, both individually and collectively. This is achieved through the indirect use of hypnosis and suggestion via television, the internet and newspapers.

As my readers may recall I recently reported on a dream that I had in late 2019 prior to the onset of the Coronavisus epidemic in China. A Dream from Late 2019 Concerning Mass Deaths I sincerely believe that this was a premonition given to me by the gods concerning the impending pandemic. I saw masses of bodies piled up in the street, people dead not from misadventure but due to 'natural causes' and helicopters in the sky above. This dream meant absolutely nothing at the time but from its content and timing this was clearly a premonition. The worst my dear readers is yet to come!

If the lockdown is lifted or even eased too soon then we will inevitably experience a second and more deadly 'wave' in September, the beginning of the new school year and the winter half of the year when the NHS is at its busiest. It is estimated that there are over 12 different strains of Coronavirus with one unique to this country. See https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8288189/At-12-different-strains-coronavirus-circulating-UK-March.html As mentioned months ago by scientists, this virus is mutating and there is thus no guarantee that a person cannot be infected more than once. There is therefore no guaranteed immunity.

Whilst it is only a film I would encourage my readers to obtain a copy of the 1964 film, The Masque of the Red Death, starring Vincent Price, based on the 1842 short story by Edgar Allan Poe. So dear readers if you feel so inclined, then 'party on': the Grim Reaper awaits!

The Germanic Ethnicity of Isolde, the Goddess Isa and Iceland

What follows is a short older essay from my former Celto-Germanic Culture, Myth and History blog:

In my researches into Germanic mythology I occasionally find references to a rather obscure Germanic Goddess called Isa. Isa as we know is the name of the 11th rune of the Elder Futhark, also known as Is in the Anglo-Saxon Futhork, Iss in the Scandinavian Futharks and Is in the Armanen Futhork.

There is a theory that this Goddess lends her name to Iceland or Island. "Rassmann identifies Island as derived from Isa, a goddess of the under-world, probably the same as Holda, and not as Iceland." (Legends of the Wagner Drama by Jessie L. Weston) As a female personal name it is Teutonic and of ancient origin, signifying aristocratic, strong willed, a ruler. The element of strength is brought out in the hard, icy and cold nature of the Isa rune.

It is generally considered that due to the Celtic location and time frame of the Tristan and Isolde legend that Isolde was an Irish Celtic princess. However this is a mistake albeit an understandable one. During the 9th century CE it was a Viking and not an Irish king that held court in Dublin and we should not forget the significant Scandinavian and thus Germanic heritage of Ireland from the 9th and 10th centuries.

German scholars, according to Jessie L. Watson derive Isolde's name from Iswalt or Iswalda (Eis-walterin=ruler of the ice). The earliest form of the Isolde name is Isalde (Wolfram von Eschenbach). Legends always represent her as fair haired-'die lichte' as opposed to the rival dark-haired Isolde. She concludes that the Germanic forms of the name have more in common than the Kymric Essylt.

It is also interesting to consider that in the German Nibelungenlied Brunhild is represented as the queen of Iceland and her very nature is hard, icy and strong-willed. She dwelt in her fortress Isenstein ('Ice rock') and was a beautiful woman of formidable strength and fortitude. Could it be that the two distinct legendary figures of Isolde and Brunhild originally derive from a common Germanic source?

The Revelation of Isais, a New Translation by Wotans Krieger

There is already a translation of Die Isais Offenbarung by the Thule Temple on the internet but unfortunately it is incomplete and not accurately translated in my opinion. In view of the close association between the revelation of Isais and the prophecies contained within the Book of Sajaha I feel it is necessary to give a complete and accurate translation. I am at a loss to know why they have not completed their translation. The reader will undoubtedly find some stylistic differences between my translation and theirs-this is normal in the world of translation and is not in itself indicative of error! I have chosen to retain the poetic style of the original German. By contrast the Thule Temple have gone down a more literal route: each to his own! I have retained the numbering system used in the original.

1. Truly I speak to your hearing. I give picture to your face; speak knowledge and wisdom, all encompassing, from the beginning of the beginning to the end of the end.

2. Speak not in allegory or symbol, not by circumventing word, clearly I announce what was, what is and what may be.

3. Human beings, because they are connected to the earth are consecrated to die-and immortal at the same time: star children, heavenly born-many thousands of times older than the world here.

4. Sons of the light force and daughters of splendour, dwellers of heaven, lost in the dark, alive in the light-and yet succumbed to the shadow, eternal-and yet not free from dying.

5. Wanderer over the ridges of the worlds, newly born on the world of this side-destined again for the other side. Children of the gods but not like the gods. There is much more to be said about human beings: old is their race-young is their world.

6. Unborn is the human being, since the beginning of the beginning-it will always be.

7.  Before the beginning was, everything was given from before eternity; there was neither space nor time. Unconscious, without life, lay the beings all there, before All-father took pity on them, created measurable time, created also measurable spaces, that can be walked through: the eternal heavenly worlds.

8. The seeds of all beings sank into it; eternity emerged out of pre-eternity, beginning from pre-beginning.

9. All-father leaned down to care for the beings, giving vital force, kindling souls, awakening spirits. The new heavenly world awoke to life and weaving. The beings recognised each other according to their kind:

10. There were those who later became human, there were those who became animals, there were those who were like green plants and there were spirits of demons.

11. And yet not everything as the earth knows today escaped from the heavenly worlds-that at the same time is similar and dissimilar.

12. What now lives in the earthly originated in the kingdom of heaven, once fleeing All-father's light, strange shadows sought after-erring and unsuspecting.

13. Because a prince of shadows rose up against the worlds of heaven, to defy All-father. This prince of shadows has set up a kingdom of shadows- far from the heavens: dark hell.

14. Endless void stretches in between-that none could reconcile.

15. In the middle of it, between dark and light, mighty spirits built Valhalla. All-father's gentle goddesses and bold gods live there.

16. There is continual fighting between them and hell.

17. Numerous beings however fell away from the heavenly worlds. Unsuspectingly they wanted to look at hell. Later out of these, there became people.

18. All of them sunk into powerlessness, forgetting their own names, forgetting everything that was.

19. For these fallen All-father freshly created a new world entity: this side of the realm of earth with the firmament of stars, in order that it would make the rebirth of the lost multitudes possible, they were offered a path to earthly death, and after that a gate to the heavenly return.

20. Allfather gave the wide arc* to the worlds of beyond, to all of decayed humanity; the bridge for a happy return.

21. I call you all now world entities, well created by All-father: above all the heavenly world of eternal light, All-father's kingdom, the original home of all beings.

22. I will name next the all-encompassing founding country-there are no world entities which it does not encompass, this side as well as the other side of the great mirror, as the boundary between them is called. Also hell is in it, the dark, horrible; blood-burning revulsion of endless torture. In the middle of Greenland,* Valhalla has its place, magnificent fortress.

23. The world of this side also floats in Greenland, with the earth and the shining stars.

24. There is also an otherworldly multi-coloured arc which spans from close to heaven down to hell. The worlds over there are very numerous, to be walked through by people after earthly death.

25. On the edge of Greenland, unspeakably distant, there is an eerie kingdom: the grey canal of the demons; often terrible but also silent.

26. There are more sleeping worlds in Greenland-

27. and also the sunken silent valley. The earth's inhabitants come from there, first like seedlings, to roam this world, finally to win the return home.

28. Truly I speak, speak knowledge and wisdom, teach you knowledge and the way with a clear word: in the kingdom of heaven lives All-father with his faithful. But in hell dwells the dark prince of shadows, the depraved one, the spoiler: Schaddain is his name. Bright heroes reign in Valhalla, the gods with their wives.

29. Ishtar * has the right of hospitality with them, All-father's messenger. The Einherjar go in and out there, the double immortals. Some of these I call my siblings.

30. All humans have come into the world of this side *, with them animals and plants, in order to wander through the earth world. The wide arc * of the other worlds opens its way home into the kingdom of heaven after their earthly death; everyone chooses his path there.

31. In the realm of the founding land everyone can meet: good and evil, any kind. Isais who teaches you has her authority there.

32. At night, in sleep your spirit rises out of the body, in order to roam the worlds of sleep. Some meet there, passing time with each other.

33. Many spirits also strive to reach the bright day. Vibration from the hereafter may speak to him, to give a message. But I warn: often this is deception.

34. Attention, human beings, earth born! And look: here does not lie the beginning. Listen! Truly I speak to you and in a clear tone, give you advice.

35. War has been relentless in the course of time, since Schaddain rose up against All-father. Find place, seize space where the sword of the hero is needed, where bold action is required.

36. Know the place which is yours. Who hesitates, he tolerates-who tolerates lets the powers of evil prevail.

37. Gently offer greetings to the meek, but fling battle cries against the evil one. Know love in its place-like the hour of the spear.

38. Feel compassionately, where the claws of distress tear a suffering. But look hard into the eyes of those who wanted to abuse this.

39. Strike out-don't hesitate-where a dark cloud descends. A warrior is where the rage of war prevails. Lovers are at the home hearth.

40. Wandering on earth is divided into two, how bright is the day and dark the night. Never imagine that there is only one of the two.

41. Truly I speak, want to show you further, want to show you what is: Schaddain plagues cities and countries, seas and gorges, deserts and forests, meadows and mountains of the earth world. He breaks open the sources of torment, he soaks through the history of the peoples with blood, thereby acting as a god.

42. Many faced * is the grimace of evil, which gapes everywhere out of the cracks of the earth, many headed are its tearing jaws. No sword stroke alone is capable of splitting them all.

43. Seas of flame will roar over the countries for some time before the worm passes. Malice nourishes the mischief's belly, making the thrower of shadows powerful.

44. Who then would command the horror to stop so long as the jug of clearing water does not open? Persevere! You should stand ready through all times, until the hour of the victorious sword is fulfilled. Then the flag will fly high in the storm of the final battle when the spurt from the water jug will wet the world.

45. Far away still is the day, is the hour of victory. Sweeping clouds tower by to spit lightning.

46. Kingdom of light, oh kingdom of light, the ship's keel breaks, debris only lands on the shore of grief. Pick up the pieces, carefully guard them for a new work: once there was a ship of victory. When the ray blows the sail-from the next world it comes through Ilu's sun, invisible-then is the time.

47. Peer through the world of stars, look up to the head of the bull. He brings the lance. Measure the distance from the stars: from the head of the bull to the water jug. Under the middle hides the black- purple stone.

48. Black stone, powerful force. Isais once recovered it from the grey places of the mud-hole of hell, outwitting the prince of the shadows who had it stolen from Valhalla.

49. For this Isais used the trick, cut her hair the length of an ell and put on boy's clothing, in order to deceive Schaddain's guards. Thus she penetrated a mud-hole pool in hell, in order to save the black-purple stone:

50. Powerful is its force, calling out the light from the water jug. Hail to the knowing ones! Hail to the wise ones who obey what is advised. They will be effective.

51. So women's hair binds magical power. It captures vibrations from the other world into the world of this side. The longer it wallows there in equal measure the more power it can win. But it does not remain unthreatened in the dark age because Schaddain longs to do harm to it.

52. Flowing spirits, magical vibratory power, sometimes choose to hoard themselves in the long hair of  the maiden. It is usually good, contributes a great deal, giving capability to effect the will. Those in the courtyard and at the hearth, all in the light, last a long time, truly very long.

53. But those who openly fight against the darkness had better shorten it, as Isais had done on the journey to hell.

54. Where the vibration of darkness prevails, then some of these nest in the hair of magically active women if these are longer than necessary; but the measure of half an ell is necessary.

55. Powerful is the man in battle with the sword and the strength of his will, however the woman operates magically.

56. Recognise the sign that heaven gives you. The called one feels it, the elect understand it, they call (or think) to me:

Out of the light of the moon,
Out of the dark of the night,

          will you come, sister Isai',

         you who always saw me,

you who always have my thoughts.

57. Black appears the stone-and yet it is light. A part of primeval material *-unspeakably strong. It leads the force of man, it rejuvenates the style of woman, makes Valhalla's army effective.

58. It bestows victory on the people of its homeland, certainly lasting a thousand years. The power lies in Wodin's mountain. It hears the sound of voices, the chosen tongue, it does not like to suffer strange ones. It is not aware-and yet does the same thing; the black-purple stone is indeed the bright power of life. I, Isais, the maid, that which I chose for you, that which I speak to you of, give the stone to your tribe.

59. Who kisses Isais's mouth, neck and hair, he will be kissed again by the spirit of Isais. I hear the true-but my claw beats the false ones.

60. So I show myself to you, in order that you can form an image-be it out of wood, ore or stone. I enter into one of those, in order to reign as sister among the true.

61. But to the false ones I come as a panther.

62. I am close to you, I am with your tribe-to the year, hour and day-until the time is fulfilled.

63. When Ishtar has opened the glass lid of the water jug and young light shines effectively-then the change draws near. Then Isais will have accomplished her work for the age; henceforth Ishtar has fulfilled her office.

64. Then you should kiss the mouth, eyes and hair of  Ishtar, you should serve the purpose of the mighty ones of light, but do not forget Isais.

65. Some however, who are the bravest, they may remain at my side.

66. Out of the shine of the moonlight I call to you. Out of the light of the moon, so they call me. Such should be those who are not afraid of the worst and do not shy away from the most difficult things, who renounce peace and happiness, because the struggle does not end yet in Greenland. To them I will no longer be just a sister, but bride and wife.

67.  Not until everything is fulfilled, that All-father wants, when the golden ages rises over the countries of the earth and in the hearts of all peoples, only then will the people alone be the sign of the All-father. This hour is far, far is the way. The night of devastation prevails for a long time, and Schaddain roars unrestrained.

68. Daughters of the stars and sons of heaven, All-father's friends, suffering of the shadow power: high rises the will, so knowledge weaves there. Certain is the victor since time eternal. From the head of the bull, help comes to you in tribulation and distress, of the same kind of weapon.

69. Children of the bull, Isais's sisters and brothers, the best of the tribes here: stay away from alien blood, pure remains the tribe, which Isais and Ishtar love, which is predetermined from All-father's word.

70. Heavenly streams of light permeate the land here, called, came, held, bound by the band of the black stone.

71. At the foot of this mountain, deeply hidden in the rock, it shall rest until the hour of the age, until Wodin seizes word and deed there.

72. Therefore you should pass on Isais's kiss through all the families of the holy tribe; nothing divides the alliance. I speak this to you in clear words, not my symbols, say precisely: the childhood in All-father remains always true and the siblinghood mine.

73. And also pay attention to the brother in the bull. In Greenland's expanses, near Valhalla, Malok, the brave, spreads out his wings. He is Isais's faithful warrior, the protector who hurried on the dangerous journey into the fortresses of hell, who preserved me from the worst, who rescued me from Schaddain's henchmen.

74. But I warn, call on Malok alone when in greatest need, and this is no different than (calling on) my name, though terrible, he is otherwise easy. I tell you now, because he resembles the head of a bull, the winged warrior, the strong one, the bold one, the vastly mighty-and to him alone this applies to.

75. No one should erect a statue of Molok, without also that of Isais. Otherwise he can come differently than you would want to call him. Restrained Malok's anger is directed to the right, desired in my name and image.

76. Malok has many brothers and some sisters, powerful beings, who roam the hereafter, working magical arts and directing fighting skills. The tribes of the peoples often call them their gods or demons.

77. Your goddess, however, is called Ishtar, All-father's radiant messenger; and your secret companion: Isais. You will see her when the victory battle is fought, to celebrate with a long wavy head of hair, before I shorten it again to continue fighting. I say this because you always have to know how to recognise my image. How you think it-so I recognise myself.

78. Because all thoughts are seen in Greenland, understandable message, clearly recognisable by pictures.

79. And note again, that Malok can become wild violence if Isais's reins should tear through careless human acts. Always give him honour, the solitary warrior-he was always faithful-but know: Malok cannot understand human feelings. So he who calls on him in error bears the guilt himself.

80. I speak to you, what you need to know. Mark everything well! Nothing is to be neglected: allow three flames to burn at every time, where perhaps an image of Malok stands next to mine.

81. I have already given you the high secret of the spear and the mirror. You should keep it, never however put it down in writing, keep it in your head.

82. You wander now between the world entities, between Greenland and the solid earth, like me. Far I weave, I am the bond of your striving. Mostly invisible-but always at your side.

83. Ancients knew, carved the runes, kept All-father's word. Until strange winds blew the poisonous dust into the thoughts of the people, until evil seeds rose up everywhere among the peoples.

84. Awaken the memory, that lay long as if sleeping, let the new ray of an old sun shine: inner sun, internal light. Traditionally handed down but eternally young: towering spirit of a high race. The ancestors look from over there.

85. Ancients knew, carved the runes, bore witness well, knowledgeably revealing many things that had been a long time ago.

86. Three tribes joined themselves to the people: land born, sea born and air born they were. The first sprouted from the old ground, the second sailed from afar over the sea, the third came from Sunland, from high towers near the clouds. They were all united in an earlier time in Thale, the holy island. Contemplating it, they reunited anew, led by All-father. Many had forgotten, some did not see through it: on people it had always been, since ancient times: divided by fate-skillfully reunited.

87. First dividing fate was a raging fire-everywhere, burning the earth, scorching the grass, evaporating the fresh water, consuming the marrow* of the peoples.

88. Second dividing fate was a falling flood-everywhere showering, swirling, foaming waves, bursting out of the clouds, raging out of rivers and seas, sinking lands, engulfing the peoples.

89. Third dividing fate came with an icy grip: rumbling giants without mercy; the people had to flee.

90. Three dividing fates, divided a people into three. They went apart-again they found each other.

91. Ishtar was sent to them- at the behest of the All-father, in order to unite again the midnight people, the primeval lords of the holy island.

92. Because the light of the water jug needs load-bearing strength, when it becomes invisible it will pour down on the human races.

93. Then shall the resolute ones be reunited in the Golden Age, certainly for a thousand years, in order that they change the light of the water jug into internal gold.

94. Ishtar and Isais are both called from All-father's word, each one in their own way, they lovingly lead the heroes.

95. Truly I speak, to quench the thirst for knowledge out of the well of understanding: sometimes the All-father sent wise ones to the people: sent also Ishtar once into the kingdom of the Great King, who ruled the earth from all the winds. Bel was the name of his country.

96. He had it written down, the high mighty king, as it was reproduced from the mouth of the seeress. Up to Thale, to the holy island, the great king announced the message of the goddess in the times of golden knowledge.

97. In the times thereafter the curse of darkness approached the people as the cruel servants of Schaddain chose it and named it after their god. Clouds of hateful darkness darkened the stars, blood rush awakened, to the horror of the peoples. Time of darkness, malice of endeavour, evil of the deed: the brood of Schaddain spread out widely and won space. The furrows of the earth became channels of blood; scarcely anymore did one love the other.

98. All-father himself was slaughtered as a  living messenger by the servants of the dark horror.

99. Because it was All-father as All-Krist himself. The hatred of darkness raged against him.

100. Power of light martyred, the truth crushed, the liberators bound-a terrible time.

101. Isais was on the lookout from Greenland for unyielding brave heroes. Searching she saw the resolute tribe, to whose best she had committed herself.

102. On the whole there are few to be seen and also a  small number out of that.

103. Those whom I recognised out of the Greenlandish mirror: the holy flock, you are my heart. To you it is spoken. Hold high the elect, do not ignore the cure.

104.  No other race than yours can rule. The floating eagle has gained knowledge, alone above the heights of the clouds.

105. Silently consider, quietly comprehend, knowingly proceed: this is what the wise man does. Questions of the day find answers at night if the ancestors are calmly engaged by the rising spirit.

106. A man's sword raised for battle, is of two types: ore on the outside and will on the inside. Never the professional, the clever and mature tarry, who can see the path of fate from afar.

107. Those who recognise themselves also know the course of fate, recognise their own destiny. Those who do not know, easily stumble.

108. Working is a highly meaningful act, whether small or large. Seeing the work flourish, you recognise yourself in it, draw joy from it and always new strength.

109. Pay attention! A lot of what I tell you is not from me alone, I stand in All-father's duty, his word is uppermost, only for that do I strive.

110. It is known that Ishtar also hears you. She is a messenger to him. Therefore give her honour, image and place in your hearts. In the days before the time of fulfillment she herself may yet speak to you if All-father wills it. Therefore keep clear the appropriate space.

111. Then Ishtar creates a holy pillar, erected towards heaven, when the time of the water jug is near; when the last battle has been victoriously fought and the battlefield has been cleared of all traces of horror.

112. Then pass the band from me to Ishtar, then kiss Ishtar's eyes, lips and locks. Her mild light shines on the coming peace-as before the hot struggle of Isais's embers.

113. What is said to you out of Isais's mouth: applies only to you, not all people, not all nations. Weigh yourself, what needs to be known of all of that: All-father's overseeing of the world event, All-father's care, All-father in all beings acting there.

114. Ishtar and Isais: they are especially for you. Not everyone can understand what is required here. Don't let the weak grasp it.

115. The inhabitants of the earth are different, what is pious for them, what their work can be, in what way they work is different. Knowing helps everyone to find his own; because each has meaning and place according to their kind.

116. Schaddain's blood-steaming claw wants to confuse. The lie is his own, he teaches resentment, stokes envy from one to the other.

117. Listen to all voices, pay attention to every sign. Schaddain's servants throw falsehood into the world. Exercise caution, do not forget: the crowd of people here is unclean, having fallen away from All-father's home.

118. Great is the evil, before the spout from the water jug has it cleared up; deceit manifold, betrayal frequent, numerous treacherous people inhabit this world.

119. Innocent alone are the animals of the earth, the fish of the water, the birds of the air and everything that crawls, jumps and runs. Innocent also are the green plants. All of these are therefore sacred.

120. Isais, me, is close to the feline, large and small. Such as those stood in battle with me against the forces of evil on Greenland's shores. In the cat family you honour also Isais's kind, the vibrations of both spirits are related.

121. Who is the bravest among the heroes? It is he who travels through the hereafter, through Greenland's realms, in All-father's strength, in loyal faith, the inner gaze directed to the heavenly kingdom.

122. Eternal life is promised there and is truly unbreakably given.  Note it well: there is no death! To die means to start, to wander again through different world structures. Nothing scares you, nothing causes you fear.

123. The light shines forever, it is living light; and a portion of it is firmly sunk into all of you.

124. What is human on earth, or animals and also green plants: it lives forever. Preserve this blessed knowledge.

125. High princes will find themselves holy on the mountain of the gathering, to rule wisely. Goddesses and gods provide them with protection, as these spirits were once called by men; but in truth they are angelic beings.

126. Under the world mountain's secret shield, invisible to the eyes of people and not tied to a single place, stands the visible mountain of tangible rock, which man prepares as a holy place. Where this particular mountain rises to the clouds, there you will meet Isais.

127. And here shall the second lapis...(missing verse)

128. From there the top of the world tree towers up: no one can see it with an earthly eye-and yet it is there.

129. Holy sites, holy groves, temples without walls: there All-father's breath breathes on the visitor. There the seeker will find, will feel the breath of heaven.

130. That is the end, when the world of earth together with the vast firmament of stars pass away-only the kingdom of heaven and the mud-hole of hell continue to exist. And no one changes their place anymore.

131. That is the end: when everything comes home to the beginning. That is the end: when all the paths of wandering are fulfilled, when each and everyone has passed through the gate, when every work has been accomplished.

132. Then everyone enjoys blessed peace, far from all suffering, escaping all torment, all tears are dried, everything has happily regained the right of home in All-father's kingdom.

133. That is the end-the real beginning again. Then the light shines out of the light on all beings-the fulfillment of all paths. The time is still far away.

134. This spoke Isais to you, I, Greenland's maid. The elect can grasp it.

*20 I have translated 'Den weiten Bogen' as 'wide arc', its literal translation but the context hints heavily that this is the rainbow bridge.

*22 As in the Book of Sajaha, 'Greenland' is clearly an otherworldly place and is also referred to in the Book of Sajaha.

*29 I have translated 'Istara' has 'Ishtar' and appears to be cognate with Ostara and Eostre, the goddess of Easter.

*30a 'Diesseits' literally means 'this side'. I have translated the term as the 'world of this side' in order that it makes sense in English. The 'world of this side' is also commonly used in the Book of Sajaha. There are quite a few similarities in the choice of terminology used in both of these works.

*30b 'The wide arc' is of course the rainbow bridge.

* 'Vielgesichtig' literally means 'many' or 'multi-faced'. I have resisted the temptation to translate this as 'multifaceted' as this would detract from the almost poetic nature of the work.

*57 Some words and phrases just do not translate well into English. I am trying to remain as close to the German transliteration as possible but some words just do not exist-neither in English nor even in the German language. There is a tendency in German esoteric writings for new words and phrases to be created to explain a difficult concept. One sees this particularly in the writings of Guido von List. All we can do as translators is attempt to enter the mind of the author! I have thus translated the non-existent word 'Urstoffteil'- literally (when deconstructing the elements of the word) 'primeval material part' as 'part of primeval material'.

*87 'Mark' may be translated as 'marrow', 'march' or 'borderland'.

The Book of Sajaha, a New Translation by Wotans Krieger

I have taken it upon myself to translate the entire Book of Sajaha into English as the only published version by Joshua Free appears to be incomplete, some of the verses or part of verses left untranslated and there are errors. My translation is thus complete and hopefully is largely free from errors and has a greater amount of internal consistency.

Chapter One

(Letter to the king)

1. My king as you already know there are vibrations and currents of different type and strength everywhere, but everywhere and in all things and in everyone they are barely perceivable.

2. It is thus for everything, and thus for people that being is a constant existence in the midst of a sea of cosmic and magical vibrations and currents, yes it is like a wide sea which in turn hides many different seas in itself.

3. Thus it happens that each and everyone relentlessly receives from such seas vibrations and currents and also releases them again-without however being able to determine any of them, yes, mostly it is not noticeable.

4. This powerlessness towards the vibrations and currents, which indeed are so effective is above all due to the high gifts of the godly people who have remained pure, having been almost entirely lost since the fall of the primeval empire. And the racially mixed descendants lost most of their old power.

5. Therefore it has come about, especially in that area which is not conscious, the flowing forces which work there can only be guided a little to a limited extent by the wise ones but can never really be controlled or used appropriately.

6. This is because the nerves of the ancestors (of today's people) have atrophied, which were necessary for the mastery of the high power but are no longer available for their descendants and their progeny.

7. The only tool that can still absorb and manage these vibrations and currents is the long hair of women. Like a delicate, but large and dense network they can hold these forces and make them manageable, in so far as a (woman) understands what is necessary for that, which is known (from the magical teachings).

8. This means now that most people cannot handle the magical vibrations although they are in the midst of them; and therefore they are like rudderless ships on an unknown sea.

9. Therefore the few who are capable should use their ability to support the many others as lights in the silent invisible sea. (The vibrations of the forces of nature are regarded as masculine, the magical on the other hand as feminine.)

Chapter Two

("Ereschkigal and the owls")

1."Where you wise ones, has the circle its beginning? And where its end?"-Ereschkigal once asked the owls about that who live in deep caves by day and only look at the world at night.

2. The first owl said: "where the light ends is the beginning of the circle, and where the darkness ends there is its end."

3. The second owl spoke: "because everything has once started in the light, it wanders through the dark and returns to the light."

4. Ereschkigal however still wanted to know it differently and asked the owls further: "you speak to me about the course of eternity in infinity. However I have drawn here a circle with a stylus on a stone. You speak of that world-but I ask about the meaning in this one."

5. The first owl spoke: "everything that applies in that world applies also in this one; only that there are a thousand times more in that one."

6. The second owl spoke: "your circle which you have shown us there is nothing other than a small image of the large one."

7. Then Ereschkigal became impatient and called to the owls: "you want to make in to one what is different to the other! Tell me, where by this one, my circle, are the beginning and the end!"

8. Then the first owl laughed and the second one answered: "there is a beginning and an end, where you have one so it is with the other one as with the sign that you have drawn. But now you have forgotten it."

9. And the first owl spoke: "as you have forgotten this small one, so also the large one. Because if you knew about the beginning of all being you would not ask us about the circle. I will however explain to you the following because you need to know it: it is- whatever you start in the earthly world-not in it alone, it has a higher counterpart, in the sense of the other world, of which you, Ereschkigal must know.

10. If you draw the circle here with the stylus on the stone you have a self-contained line that according to its nature apparently can have neither a beginning nor an end-and never the less once had!

11. So it is with the great cycle of eternity in infinity: connected forever is everything with each other, from beginning to end it is known by he who created it.

12. In the beginning the end was well known to him and in the end the beginning. One thing is everything-every breath of eternity.

13. In case you still don't understand, so go and inquire more in the other world."

14. Then Ereschkigal got up from the stone on which she had been sitting, and left the owls.

15. The second owl however said to the first one: "Ereschkigal stays too often in the underworld. That is why the circle for her is if she is standing in it and caught by it. Only those who walk along their line are free."

16. As Ereschkigal however strode through the long corridors of her underground palace, remembering the words of the owls, she then suddenly saw the distant light at the exit at the end of the long tunnel; and she understood that at the source of the light end and beginning meet.

Chapter Three

1. A lot has been, a lot will still be, and in the middle of what has been and is coming lies the now.

2. The now however is always only the time span of half a breath, there is no means to measure it.

3. The gaze of Marduk overseas all. Before him the drops of the now add to the stream of eternity in infinity. He overseas everything.

4. He sees the beginning and the end. Human beings add what lies in between on earth, they cannot think that the gods would do it.

5. Humans are the shadows of the gods. They act according to their own will on earth. Theirs is the merit of light, theirs the guilt of darkness.

6. Deity gives the footwear to walk. People choose their own paths.

7. Marduk looks down full of pity on those who are astray, joyfully on those who take the right path. He gives advice to the seekers-not coercion.

8. The now is the way. And often the path is like a spider's web. It is difficult to always find the single straight path.

Chapter Four

("Dreams")

1. I want to speak to you about the dreams that come to you at night, of strange things, of alien things, I want you to discover.

2. Because there are dreams of a different kind. There are those which allow you to walk in the worlds of sleep. There are those which another brings to you. There are also those which you can create for others. And also there are those which hasten by without limits.

3. You can see some things in sleep which are simply a reflection of the day. This is not a real dream; such is a stringing together of images without deeper meaning.

4. But if in sleep your inner body raises itself out of the outer one, then you have dreams! Because it is so that the inner body, which comes from the kingdom of god cannot continuously carry the outer one, which is its afterbirth for the stay in the world of this side. And that's why sleep comes. During the hours of sleep spirit* and inner body rest.

5. And so the spirit then leaves the earthly body and goes on journeys. In the process it often looks for another person whose (essence-) vibration is similar to its own, and temporarily moves into it. And if you quite clearly experience a lot of this in your dreams, then all of this has really happened. However not to you , but to the person in whom your spirit moved in as a guest, in order to be carried and to silently experience.

6. It can however also happen the other way around, that the spirit of another sleeping person joins yours. It brings with it pictures from its life, and these mix with your own. And often it may appear confused. All images however are real in their own way.

7. These however are still the small tracks of dreams. There are bigger ones which are more significant. If for example your spirit moves out completely and enters fully into the worlds of sleep. Numerous  spirits of sleeping people meet there together. So images that you remember after waking are frequently very strange to you.

8. A still further path can lead to the borders of Greenland * - and possibly even a little bit into it. Then your spirit experiences a great deal in the hours of sleep-and its gaze extends far. Because from there it also sees the beings of the earth world in their truth, nothing remains hidden from him, all thoughts lie open before him. And what you notice from there, that is really important knowledge.

9. It can however also happen that when your earthly body, resting in sleep is abandoned by your own spirit that strange and demonic spirits may inhabit it temporarily. This happens if the spirit is not strong enough to lock the earthly body against the intrusion of strangers. And then dangers lurks.

10. Everything that you see and experience in real dreams is real somewhere. Nothing is mere illusion.

11. And it is also possible to interpret some of it for you. Because the spirit is not seeking random paths, but because of its character or because it seeks what it lacks. You can learn a lot from that.

12. If the dreams that you have had often seem confused after waking it is because you no longer correctly or completely remember them, and also the memory of different dreams that you have had are confused together.

13. And there is also the knowledge that everything that has a mind also dreams, even where the mind cannot comprehend-such as in animals and plants. * Because all these creatures once came from the realms of the kingdom of god, following the comprehending ones (humans/angels), or also dragged along by them. And they all have a spirit according to their kind, and these also leave their sleeping earthly bodies from time to time.

*4 'Geist' may be translated as 'spirit' or 'mind' and the two terms have a closer association than in the English-speaking world.

*8 I have translated 'Gruenland' literally as Greenland but obviously this does not and indeed cannot refer to the island known as Greenland but instead some mystical domain that the seer is referring to. Joshua Free places the term 'Summerland' in parentheses after 'Greenland' and this is a term often used in spiritualist circles for the conceptualization of the afterlife and this describes it quite well.

*13 I have translated 'Geist' here as 'mind' as context indicates that 'mind' and not 'spirit' is the most appropriate translation.

Chapter Five

1. I flew through the starry sky like an eagle-in the deep blue night, which is a different night and lasts for ever. And it was an image which came to me: deep blue night between all the stars, the bright sparkling and the dull shining-hear and far.

2. My silent wings carried me through time. And there was no boundary anywhere-and indeed everywhere.

3. There I saw the earth world lying in a sea of currents, * which no one else sees and which I also did not quite see but felt: they were there, everywhere and which came up to and embraced the earth world and held everything there that was necessary as a basis for life.

4. And the earth world was not large, and the stars were not small and many resembled each other, although they were indeed all different. There were red worlds and yellow, blue and green, white and also some which were almost black. And others were streaked through with multiple colours. Some shone out of themselves and were very bright, so that I could not perceive any form. Others in turn were of a different kind.

5. And I saw the sun, which shone on the earth world; bright and hot and like glowing gold. I also saw the moon which shines on the earth world at night. Dull was its shine and it was not large as the sun is large. However I saw the earth world as if it were hanging on imperceptible strings: the sun's rays.

6. And the vibrations carried me through sparkling lights and through deep darkness and back again-I don't know where to. And there I also saw another earth world. Familiar and yet also strange at the same time. I went down to it. Its sky however was a blueish red, and there was no other day like now in this light. Another sun appeared to me there and another moon which was its twin. But I heard languages spoken which I (mentally) understood.

7. Then the vibrations pulled me back, a storm whirled and turned me around, and my hair got caught in the wing so that it stopped roaring and became quiet again. So I floated home, past other worlds and it seemed to me that gentle chants came from one of them. But the night, the dark, the blue, the mild, took me back.

8. I stand on the battlements of the temple and look up at the night. Now it is very quiet. It remains silent by day.

*3 'Stroeme' may be translated as 'streams' or 'currents' (including electrical ones). I have translated the word as 'currents' because this is in keeping with the use of this term elsewhere in the book. This is clearly a play on words by the seer.

Chapter Six

1. I saw demons lying on the edge of Greenland. And Schaddei crouched * before them with all his spirits of evil, begging for assistance against Bel's empire, inciting conflict against Ilu.

2. The demons paid no attention. Their ice-cold breath froze the spirit of hell-it did not care.

3. Then the dark one went home with its hordes to the hellish mud hole. The smell of slaughtered bodies enveloped them again.

4. The prince of shadows feels so homely, horror is refreshment to him, decay enjoyment, he thirsts after blood.

5. The evil spirits swarmed out to the earth world-so I have seen-, in order to cause evil, according to their kind, to instill hatred, to sow murder, to let the peoples drink out of cups of wrath, in order that there be war everywhere. Schaddei seeks the intoxication of blood and burning.

6. I saw demons floating on the borders of the world of this side.*  Some made an alliance with Jaho (Schaddei); disaster threatens the people of the earth. Some here have surrendered to the evil one, and such serve him, such bear the cups of wrath amongst the nations of humanity in order to make them drunk and stumbling in lust for war and delusion - in order that Jaho may sip human blood and graze on the smell of burning human flesh.

7. The servants of the evil one serve evil, they are emissaries of Schaddei, the scum of hell in the world of this side.

8. I have seen bad things to come, the emissaries of Schaddei, the spirits of evil on earth are winning power for themselves.

9. Terrible things will come-still worse things will come-, until finally the spirit of the righteous awakens and takes up Babylon's sword, the pure, the light, in order to smash the darkness.

*1 The verb 'kauern' can mean either to 'crouch' or to 'cower'. The former seemed the more appropriate English word to use according to the context.

*6 I have seen some English translations that translate the term as 'this world' whilst 'diesseitigen Welt' strictly means 'the world of/on this side' in the sense of dimensions. This is a term which is commonly used in esoteric literature of this genre. See Das Vril Projekt (Norbert Juergen Ratthofer and Ralf Ettl)!

Chapter Seven

1. A grey cloud drifts closer. However it doesn't carry rain, it doesn't bring soft clouds-it obscures the light.

2. I cannot announce joyful tidings. Darkness will come in the coming time. The temples burst and the kings fall. The people falls into envy, envy stokes up hatred. Hatred nourishes the forces of evil and forms wars from them.

3. I cannot announce joyful tidings, neither something beautiful nor light. Because the light that will come in (a) meantime will slay the servants of darkness. And they will mix its appearance with false tones.

4. And the grey cloud drifts closer. It becomes black and darkens the sky over the world.

5. And the inhabitants of the earth in their majority no longer differentiate between black and white, they exchange evil and good, unaware staggering, raging, insane. Nothing lasts. Everything falls.

6. I cannot announce joyful tidings-only one thing: the seventh humanity will ascend again in a later time. Before that, however, all sick souls must pass away, who no longer separate white and black.

Chapter Eight

1. Evil faces are there-and melt away. They don't belong to demons, they don't belong to otherworldly beings: they belong to the earth world-in a special way.

2. White flowers are blooming. Blue flowers bloomed before. There are false plants somewhere. They hide under the leaves of others and secretly proliferate.

3. Ten kingdoms come and go. That of Babylon and Assyria is the first and greatest. That of the Aryan follows after, and then that of Egypt, then Iran, then Chad and then that on the coast of the sea, then the distant one in the east and also the distant one in the west, then that over the sea and also the midnight kingdom. Three afterbirths will still follow later. These pass quickly; they are not in the light. One eats up another straight away. Two remain.

4. Of all the kingdoms one returns twice-and always in a different place. The vibration that comes from Bab-Chomet (the Black Sun)  causes this.

5. But the darkness suffocates the light again-and also suffocates itself.

6. However almost all the heroes fall. Flowers do not bloom anymore just strangling vines. * And the desert remains empty. Vultures perch in the branches of the tree. They have already eaten the owls, they have already eaten the pigeons, they have already eaten the eagles.

7. Grey animals grow out of the earth. They gnaw at the roots of the trees until they overturn and tear down with them the vultures. So then these are killed and the grey animals eat them up.

8. Between hills a blood-red animal sprouts up. It grows quickly. The grey rodents feed it until it is large. Then it also eats those who nourished it. And the red animal has eyes of false gold.

9. On the earth world no real kingdom rules anymore, only the afterbirths. And these are sick from birth. They choose the blood-red animal from the hills to be the leader. But soon they cut it up in a quarrel.

10. The red animal however is now doubled. And each of the (now) two has an eye of false gold. Tendrils hold firmly on to it. And these tendrils also reconnect the two parts of the animal together. So the hostile afterbirths remain connected to each other.

11. The blood-red animal bites, and bites the peoples of each of its followers. It tears open severe wounds. A lot of blood flows and the animal drinks it up. That makes it strong.

12. But the tendrils will also be strengthened by the blood. They are choking now the red animals and want to rule entirely by themselves. Their limbs burrow deeply into the bodies of the afterbirth. And their peoples bleed again even more.

13. Then the afterbirths and their peoples fall. They enter through the shadow of the real kingdoms. And also the red animal passes away. And also the tendrils come to an end because they have nothing more to hold on to.

14. There is everywhere a great crying and complaining and whining! Unbridled are the peoples, without order and kingdom.

15. Now they harbour the sprig of a white flower And it grows gradually-it brings forth a blossom. And so comes into being a  new real kingdom. And all submit themselves freely to it. It is from the light.

16. There have been many evil spirits. But at the end a light. The evil spirits melt away-the light however remains.

*6 This is the translation of 'Wuergeranken' used by Joshua Free and I have chosen to use this term as it aptly describes what happens.

Chapter Nine

1. There are three images which I want to show you next; and each one of them an event for a certain time.

2. The first image shows you a new king. He lives on the shore of the lake. His race * is related to us by blood. He sends out many ships. He annexes lands, which since the great Sargon I no one had seen any more. He is learned, his gods are also ours.

3. The higher the sign of the new king climbs in the heavens, the more those who are envious forge hatred against him-and soon gather together to attack him. Terrible struggle comes, for the first time, the second time, and for the third time.

4. The new king finally succumbs to the majority. There remains no trace of him-only secret knowledge.

5. Another king rules as the first one over the world. He is not of our blood and has no knowledge of the light. * His land lies distant. Through industriousness however this king achieves a great deal. However as the industriousness passes, so also does his work.

6. The second image, that I also want to bring you, shows many praying people; they pray a great deal and in many countries. However they do not pray to the true deity, their understanding is blinded. The light that was once there, they have veiled in their temples, their holy stones bear false inscriptions. And they offer false sacrifices, cutting girls' hair and burning the wise. They do not see the signs of their gods anymore. And just as they pray and sacrifice, so they wage greedy wars.

7. Their thoughts are emptied, their spirits are sick, and their souls are deformed. Their gods slurp their blood, burn their flesh and eat the hair of their women. And they kill a great many.

8. The third image, that I want to give to you today, shows, how again a new king arises in the distance. And he is of our blood. His name is "Hope" because he closes the sources of evil. And every sign of heaven* gives him a year, the first half of it in peace and the second in war. However the sources of evil break out again, and they shower the young king with blood and fire from above and below and from all sides. Thus he perishes. And the name "Hope" falls with him.

9. Then the darkness completely seizes power in the world. The blinded people sacrifice in dull temples of the same impure kind. Schaddein (the prince of the shadow/evil) determines the course, his priests of the lie rule scornfully over the earth. Only the heirs of the heritage of Babylon, Assyria and Persia fight back. However these became weak long ago. The victory is far off. There is no new king anymore.

10. However a strong one will shake up the remnant of the heirs and wake some up. Like a comet which suddenly gives a sign. However the victory is far off, and there is no new king.

11. Something strange I see in addition to that: it is like a glowing wheel-gigantically large. And its spokes are intertwined people, who have no race. *  They look sick, egoism * is in their breath. They are slaves to themselves and to the wheel. Those who hold the glowing circlet burn and scream at it. However the next push right away, although they resist. (This is) because the centre hub is likewise made of embers, and there the people burn. And thus yet more and more multitudes allow themselves to be driven towards the disaster that works from the centre of the embers.

12. This glowing wheel-gigantic to look upon-rolls over the earth. It brings fire, igniting countries and seas. A terrible noise sounds from everywhere-gruesome and without sense. The wheel however continues to race. The noise generated by scorched people in madness, drives it, making it quicker and quicker. In raging madness they jump on to the wheel of embers and turn into smoke.

13. Nowhere is there silence anymore, everywhere screaming and charging about and raging. The people do not recognise one another anymore. And none of them slow down the hideous rolling of the glowing wheel. A new king is still far off.

14. I then saw an entirely different image-and I don't know from where this image came; it was distant to the others.

15. Then I saw the golden portrait of a beautiful goddess. It was set up on a high mast. I took it to be the portrait of Ishtar, although it did not bear her sign.

16. I saw a king standing at the base of the Ishtar post.  And a lot of people cheered him. All around lay a large city, and the entire city was in a celebratory mood. It was just as if the king of Babylon made a speech to his people. And I almost thought that I could detect a new Babylon, which lies there in a distant time-and I don't know, whether it is in the future, or past.

17. I saw a bright sun shine on the city with the golden goddess and on the entire land-up to the sea-into the mountains. And everywhere ruled great happiness, loud cheers sounded. And as the sun shone so brightly appeared also the light of love far and wide among people. I saw quarrels nowhere, I heard no anger, only joy everywhere and no trace of wild madness. Decorated ships sailed on the rivers and in the streets joyful wagons. And the desert was green in splendid forests."

*2 'Geschlecht' has various meanings including race, lineage and gender. Clearly the context rules out 'gender'! I have chosen to translate the word as 'race' although Joshua Free uses the term 'family'. He may or may not be correct.

*5 The literal translation is 'light knowledge' but this would not make a great deal of sense in English. I have thus translated the adjective as a noun.

*8 I have translated 'Himmelszeichen' in a literal sense-'sign of heaven'. The context indicates that the meaning may be 'sign of the zodiac', the German for which is 'Sternzeichen'-'star sign'.

*11 'Geschlecht'. Again I have translated this word as 'race' but Joshua Free uses the term 'gender' this tme. It is a judgement call as to which word to use according to the context.

* 11 I have translated 'Selbstsucht' as 'egoism'. For some reason Joshua Free has used the term 'selfishness'.

Chapter Ten

("Fragments")

1. Then a light will shine like a young star at the end of the sky.  That is the lid of the water jug opening (the beginning of the age of Aquarius or actually age of the water jug).

2. And a horror will break out over all the servants of darkness and over all their helpers. All their gold will melt into screaming tears-under the shining ray of the new Babylon. And all their vows of revenge will meet them out of the mirror of their wickedness.

3. The just however will judge the unjust-and will shame them by their mercy.

4. Then will be the hour of the panther against the dragon, which a worm gave birth to in the desert and nourished the giant in the kingdom of the north-here as there.

5. The accused will become the plaintiffs; and the hypocrites whine at the ember gates of their darkness.

6. Darkness crouches deeply into the flesh of the peoples-like a secret worm-it will sit high: in the saddles (and) on the necks of the kings and princes. The light of the righteous appears to be darkened.

7. However the new Babylon will shine at the base of the mountain of the north.* And the one who was the most solitary will be the new king of Babylon, the king of the new kingdom.

*7 'Nordberges' is the genitive case of 'Nordberg' -mountain of the north which according to the Thule Tempel is the 'Berg in Mitternacht'-the 'midnight mountain', 'Weltenberg'-'mountain of the world', 'Goetterberg'-'mountain of the gods', 'Heiliger Berg'-'holy mountain' and 'Berg der Versammlung'- 'mount of the assembly'. It is believed by some that the Untersberg in Berchtesgaden is an earthly representation of this fabled mount and it is the place where the goddess Isais instructed the templar Ritter Hubertus Koch to construct a temple in Her name.

Chapter Eleven

(The first verses are lost)

1. At that time there will be a great flood over the high and once bright gardens of the earth; and it will not be a flood of water but an odour of putrefaction * everywhere.

2. And from the lower gardens swarms of greedy beetles come up. These will eat and place their larvae under the blossoming trees, and the larvae will eat the roots of the trees and die on them. But the blossom of the trees wilt-and also their leaves. And the greedy beetles continue to come. They have no thoughts, they do not know their meaning. They lay new larvae. No fire will is thrown to burn them. This is how the trees will wilt-and also the shrubs and also the grass.

3. And everything will be withered and bare everywhere. Many of the greedy beetles die of hunger. The inhabitants of the bright gardens also starve.

4. There are already more beetles than there are humans. And the greedy beetles eat up a lot of the humans.

5. The people therefore have lost their thinking and understanding through the flood of putrefying odour. They could have protected themselves and their children from the disaster. Because they lost the ability to understand they did nothing.

6. And so it was before the flood of voracious beetles the flood of putrefaction entered the bright gardens; and the one prepared the way for the other. And so humans finally brought about their own bad end because they tolerated it.

7. So the first flood will come and pave the way for the second, at the end of which stands extinction.

8. Then also the beetles that remain there in the lower gardens will spoil, because without the seeds of the trees from above nothing more will flourish. So this world dies. And people in different lands don't know each other anymore. Enmity arises everywhere due to the dying of the world. Thus the very last slay each other.

9. I saw this, this is (a) coming image. And yet it is a warning-not inevitable fate. Fend off, you humans, the first flood! If you fail, you are all lost!

10. In order that you can recognise it, I want to show you more precisely the images of the first coming flood, of which I spoke. These images are colourful, strange and alien. the clever one knows how to interpret them.

11. A white bird circled over the sea near the world mountain, noble and pure. He did no harm to anyone, anger never arose from him.

12. There are there however numerous other birds-less noble and without the shining whiteness. And these envied the white one and joined together against him so that he would not be allowed to land, in order that he may die of exhaustion and hunger and then fall down dead from the clouds into the sea, so that soon no one more would know that there had ever been such a white and noble bird.

13. The white bird circled for a long time until the need forced him to fight against all the others. And he knocked down many of these, remaining for long the victor in this struggle.

14. The others gathered still more comrades and attacked the white one again-after they had previously forced him to starve again.

15. And there were again many terrible struggles of the many against the one. Until finally the white bird lay bleeding on the ground and could no longer defend himself.

16. But because he hadn't sunk into the sea and therefore some of his white feathers could still be seen the others plucked out all his feathers and ate his raw flesh.

17. Now the white bird was no more. And soon it should be shown that he had been the leader of the sunlight and the father of the white clouds in the sky. And from then on there was no more any pure light, and only grey clouds, which stopped the rays of the sun and devoured their warmth between heaven and earth.

18. But the numerous ignoble birds who had survived the long struggle cried loudly now because it was becoming cold and ever darker on the earth; and they said that the white bird bore the guilt for that and that is why they murdered him. So they turned around what had happened and denied their guilt.

19. As now the time went by there came evil demons with the darkness, who feel at home in the dark. With these however came also the sickness of minds * -and-the lack of understanding.

20. Because dark demons resemble appearance:* they are essentially essenceless, they know no suffering and no joy, they have neither fear nor any other feeling. They do not understand what is essential and do not care about it.

21. In their following however came the dark spirits, in order to bear evil to the world. And some recognised that the white bird had also been a shield against the dark power.

22. What had therefore been a light to protect against the darkness had been slaughtered by the envious birds.

23. Now they were all prey to the lord of the shadows.

*1 'Fauelnis' can mean 'degeneracy' as well. Either word would of course fit the text.

*19 I have translated 'Geist' as 'mind', rather than 'spirit' as it fits the context better but the reader should be aware that in German the concept of 'mind' and 'spirit' are more closely related than in English.

*20 'gleichen dem Schein'-'resemble appearance'. There is no easier way of translating this. What the seer is saying is that demons only resemble things in the material world-they do not have any actual essence themselves.

Chapter Twelve

First chapter.

1. Conversation between Sajaha and king Nebukadnezar II (Nebokadarsur)

Nebukadnezar: "speak to me, Sajaha, what course is time taking? What course is the world taking?"

2. Sajaha: "darkness will cover the sky over the world and over time. Because the worshipers of the evil spirit are not completely destroyed, they are arising.

3. "Like poisonous thorns they burrow into the bodies of the countries, they also bring the spirit of evil into your country, into your city of light. Doom approaches us because darkness becomes strong in the world."

4. Nebukadnezar: " have I not frightfully beaten the servants of darkness? Destroyed their sites? Burned the shrine of hell? Executed their priests and leaders? Captured their superiors?"

5. Sajaha: "what use is it oh king, to tear up the stalk of the poisonous plant from the garden beds if you don't destroy its seed with it?

6. "Fresh seed will take the evil and mingle it again with the flowers, suck the juice from their roots and finally overgrow the pure flowers.

7. "Soon the day will come when you will no longer recognise your garden bed. The flowers will have suffocated but the stalks of the poisonous plants will dominate the picture.

8. "The light is extinguished by the dark shadow of the poisonous stalks. These will feed themselves on the marrow of the noble plants, which now overgrown will no longer see the energising rays of the sun, So they are weakened and weakened again-until the evil of darkness rules almost completely."

9. Nebukadnezar: "I dealt hard with the emissaries of the dark spirit. However the king of Babylon is a just man, he shows mercy toward he who repents and forswears evil."

10. Sajaha: "you believed lies oh king, you succumb to hypocrites. Can then a thorn stop pricking? Can a poison stop poisoning? Can the lie stop being a lie?

11. "You oh king love good and that is why you seek it. Your goodness hinders you from fully recognising wickedness. So it can deceive you, so have the emissaries of the evil spirit pretended-and you left many of them alive. Because of that the race of light will suffer heavily."

12. Nebukadnezar: "I am growing old, my faithful Sajaha, my mind has turned to the next world. I have never boasted of my military campaigns because my spirit has always longed for wisdom and brightness-for me and my people.

13. "The kingdom is now powerful. I will hand over a strong Babylonia to he who comes after me. But I was not the third Sargon."

14. Sajaha: "the third Sargon will come in a later time. He will eradicate the servants of darkness with all their seed, he will tear out evil by the roots.

15. "He will know no mercy, he will not spare a single one of the enemies of the light, he will show no mercy to any who kept silent, he will not tolerate anyone who does not recognise greatness. He will suppress the lower types, he will kill all the sick souls. No trace of the worshipers of the evil spirit will remain on the earth.

16. "The third Sargon will be dreadful against everything that hinders the unfolding of the pure light.

17. "He will purify the world, he will kill seven out of ten people and he will wipe out everything that is false and everything that bears the sign of falsehood.

18. "He will be cruel against the dark.

19. "He will pile up the bodies of the slain like high pyramids in order to burn them.

20. "Everything ignoble must fall. The eternal order which will be lost he restores, sent by the deity."

21. Nebukadnezar: "when oh Sajaha will all this be?"

22. Sajaha: "in so many years, reckoned from this day on, as have passed since the first Sargon.

23. "The earth world will then be bad.

24. "But in the span of the third part of a year the emissary will have done his work.

25. "He will come from the north; he will break in unexpectedly into the poison-living earthly world, he will shake everything up with one blow and his power will be invincible.

26. "He will ask no one. He will know everything.

27. "A host of upright ones will be around him. The third Sargon will give them the light and they will shine in the world.

28. "And the just will wade in the blood of the slain unjust.

29. "Until that work is done the fire of extermination will burn from one end of the earth to the other.

30. "Only the truthful will remain."

31. Nebukadnezar: "how will it fare with Babylon?"

Sajaha: "it will disappear for a long time. Not until the third Sargon will rebuild it in the land of the north. There and then there will be a new Babylon."

32. Nebukadnezar: "now tell me this, faithful Sajaha: will the new Babylon exist through the ages?"

Sajaha: "It will exist and reign in the light for a thousand years, oh king!"

Chapter Twelve

Second chapter.

1. Nebukadnezar: "tell me", so said the king to Sajaha in Esagila-"what do you see until the third Sargon comes? How will it be with people? How will it be with the kingdom?"

2. Sajaha: "it will be bad. Nothing can avert it, it already takes its course.

3. "The poison thorn proliferates and scatters its corrosive seeds near and far. Lies pave the way for it; lies showered the circle of the world with poisonous arrows, more and more.

4. "The sun darkens its light from Chaldea to the base of the midnight mountain. But the people do not notice it, they are blinded by the appearance of falsehood, by the reflection of sneaked in gold.

5. "Many good-natured people fall, many malicious people rise up in their stead. Schaddein's gruesome breath turns most people's thoughts.

6. "What is pure will fall, what is impure, that rises. What was below, that will be above; the evil and the good exchange places.

7. "The people will be drunk. Madness rules the world.

8. "Parents lose their children, children deny their parents. No one hears the voices of the gods anymore-except for the solitary righteous, who will not count in that time.

9. "The people will no longer know their minds. Armies will fight against their commanders. The kings fall, and the temples turn to dust. Refuse is coming up, refuse will govern.

10. "All power will lie in the hands of the unworthy. These will turn the world around.

11. "Customs will no longer be, but vice will be considered noble. Men unpunished will have intercourse with boys; women will no longer want to be women, but like men will go unpunished; people unpunished will mix with animals and breed bastards. And the bastards of the bastards will be numerous in the streets of the cities without being destroyed.

12. "And the lowest will be elevated to the highest by the servants of the evil spirit. And he observes all this jubilantly from out of his darkness."

13. Shuddering, the king interrupted the seer. Nebukadnezar: "oh Sajaha! Faithful counselor of your old king. Compassionately give me a better picture, that I may take to the other world."

14. "First of all the bad must come-and then the more terrible.

15. "Because the evil spirit itself will enter the world in human form-idolised by all emissaries of evil.

16. "He will extinguish in the souls of the people, what the spirit of godhood had brought them before. He will find a well-prepared camp, in order to feel comfortable; because the entire circle of the world will be of his spirit-only the solitary righteous will wait in silence for their hour, which also will come.

17. "Before that however evil must let off steam terribly on the earth world.

18. "Everything that is bad will be regarded as good; everything that is good will be regarded as bad.

19."The people will no longer recognise any god. Gluttony and fornication, betrayal and deception will be called their gods. They will drink blood and wallow in slime.

20. "They will call naughty lies truth, and truth will not be in them. Except in the solitary righteous ones, who longingly wait for the third Sargon, to whom they have secretly dedicated their courage.

21. "The first spark of the new will emerge from the ruined ground of Chaldea. It will climb to the sky and fly, carried by rushing clouds to the land of the north. Out of this battered earth rises the liberator, the avenger: the third Sargon!

22. "And from the north as from the south the solitary righteous will stand up and will be powerful and stormily will light the fire and carry it forward, which everywhere burns out all evil, yes, everywhere."

23. Then the king raised both hands to heaven. Nebukadnezar: "terrible shall they be, the righteous and merciless!"

24. Sajaha: "so will they be."

Chapter Twelve

Third chapter

1. The king went to Sajaha in the temple of the fair Ishtar; and he was old and tired and full of cares for the people and the kingdom. Because although Babylon was mighty and highly respected in all the world, the king indeed felt the disaster that threatened the kingdom in coming times. Also Sajaha had already prophesied this to him. So now he went to her in the temple.

2. Nebukadnezar: "Sajaha, my dear faithful one, tell me how it will be when the hour of light returns over the earthly world, when the times of evil will be over and the happy (times) will spread over my kingdom and the circle of the earth."

3. Sajaha: "there will first be the victory of the righteous, of the brave who persevered through all the shadows of evil.

4. "When the third Sargon will have come and will have fought the battle, so will these have been his swords-victorious against a numerous majority.

5. "Then will he, the avenger will have thundered over the circle of the earth with fiery chariots, hurling lightning against the powers of darkness, until they are completely destroyed.

6. "After all this will the earth world be cleansed of all wickedness and misery.

7. "Only small flocks of people will populate the earth world; but it will be the best who now live and rule.

8. "A tower will (then) be built-seven-seven times higher than E-Temen-An-Ki.

9. "The earthly world will shine beautifully and wonderfully. There will be no more conflict. No one will know greed anymore. No one will know straying or fornication anymore. No one will need weapons anymore.

10. "And you my king will see that from the other world, over the top of the mount of assembly. Then joy will embrace you."

11. Nebukadnezar: "the time is far distant. Solitary are the brave and the righteous. But the deity is with them."

Chapter Thirteen

 1. I see two giant scavenging animals on the earth-and I don't know when.

2. They have heads like human heads, but bodies like grey pigs; but their feet have claws like the wild hands of a monstrosity. And each carries five atrophied horns on their heads. The heads indeed are almost like human heads, but they are indeed unspeakably ugly. Their noses are wide, somewhat like those of pigs or strange monkeys. Their mouths are like bulging caves. Their eyes resemble black stones that have no shine. And their necks are fat.

3. They stomp through the gardens of the lands and eat everything up. They wade through the rivers and seas and eat everything up. They crawl through the streets of the towns and eat everything up. But what they eat is that which decays before them.

4. But the people are so afraid of both of the scavenging animals that they die out of fear of them. And that alone is the reason why the bad animals are getting bigger, fatter and more powerful; because the people do not recognise that the fiends can eat nothing but carrion, that the living must be very afraid of them.

5. It remains that way for a long time. Until in the silence someone makes a huge spear, hidden from other people, who are only afraid and dare not fight. One of them however makes his spear, and Ishtar herself helps him to strengthen the weapon and Bel arms...

(End of the fragment)

Chapter Fourteen

1. I went to Greenland's shore for many hours. And I looked down on the earth world through the clear water. It appeared strange from there; people acted strangely.

2. I looked through the ages-like the bottom of a sea. And I saw no before and no after-everything was. However I finally felt the sequence.

3. Above a mountain in Greenland I saw softly towering up what looked like a strong braid, braided out of shimmering women's hair. And at the very top a head that possessed two faces: on one side that of a man, and on the other side that of a woman. And the woman's face was very young, almost like that of a girl's; and the giant braid was made from this hair. High up into Greenland's sky protruded this double head.

4. Then I realised that it is Ilu's high sign: male and female in one, and yet full of contrast which is why it resonates.

Chapter Fifteen

(Marduk's spear)

1. On the summit of the mountain of the gods Marduk rules over time. He sees bad things coming, but cannot prevent this from coming for a long time. The shaft of his spear is stuck firmly in the glass ceiling of the mountain.

2. Darkness come up, rules over the light. The midnight land is caught in distress. The bodies of fallen heroes are decaying at the foot of the holy mountain.

3. The army of darkness is closing in from the west; the mass of speechless ones rolls in wildly from the east. Babylon can no more be saved, Assyria is no longer there to help-the child of the north land lies down paralysed.

4. Marduk mourns by himself on the summit of the mountain of the world. The home of the gods is lost. They no longer sing, they no longer celebrate festivals, they stormily arms themselves for battle. Even their thoughts are in chains. And Ishtar weeps for her people.

5. Then Marduk raises his gaze up to the limits of the highest light, where Ishtar stands weeping. And he hears Ishtar's voice ringing: Lord Marduk! Guardian of the midnight mountain! Throw your spear against the enemy! Save our folk!

6. Then spoke Marduk and answered her: "oh Ishtar! How gladly I would do what you tell me to do! But the people lie down, the kingdom is crushed, countless is the violence of our enemies-and the new Sargon, the liberator, the avenger, he is not yet there."

7. But Ishtar looked at him and said: "oh Marduk! See what has come from below rules over the earth world and rules our people, who once came from above. Do not tolerate that the bottom dominates the top any longer! Throw your spear! The one who is ours who catches it will be the new Sargon!"

8. Then Marduk tore out the spear from the ground, lifted it up and threw it down with force on the earthly world. And whilst Marduk did that Ishtar commanded the stars to shine a new light, invisibly.

9. On the earthly world Marduk's spear had its effect: it gave birth to the people a new will, a new rage and a weapon-a new Sargon emerged from the people-and he soon seized Marduk's spear.

10. And an enormous struggle began-until the bottom was defeated and the top was raised, and the New Babylon was rebuilt. All this is to appear in a distant time, all this will be.

Chapter Sixteen

(Fragment)

1. (...This day) is a good day, that day is a bad one. And they often lie nested together like palm leaves.

2. Think of healthy leaves and rotten ones on the same branch. Most are still healthy-soon most will decay. Poison leaps over, decomposes quickly.

3. Evil is like a sharp knife, that knows how to hide its shape and can wrap itself in gold. A girl found it, thought that it was a glittering comb and before she was aware of it, three ells of dead hair fell down. It will take years to grow back.

4. Whoever bites evil quickly receives severe wounds. Only slowly do they heal again.

5. Because whoever is gripped by evil, he is like the girl whose length of hair fell: the strings which pick up the vibrations of the good are taken from him or weakened. It is difficult now to resist evil.-Take this as a meaningful picture.

6. If you are strong strengthen yourself by him who has been attacked unsuspectedly by the bite of evil. Not everyone...

Chapter Seventeen

(Fragment)

1. The giant hand has stretched out. It reaches for the rays of the sun. Your fingers are bleeding-but not hurt by the sun.

2. The giant hand has grabbed the sun-and held it nine times. Then she backed away, erasing her pain in the sea.

3. The giant hand was not the hand of a giant. No one knows what it was. Now it is no more.

4. The ascending halo (corona) went to the dawn. Some moved away with him from Esagila.

5. They knew one another and yet were also strangers to each other.

(End of the fragment)

Chapter Eighteen

(Fragment)

1. A copper mirror-confusing the ignorant. You don't attack its shiny metal, it wants your look.

2. And you look through the mirror over the edges of time. The knowledgeable travel over its water.

3. On the summit of the world mountain lands the ship of the wanderer travelling there. The journey that began like this never finds an end. You hear the sound of the voices which no one else hears.

4. I saw through the mirror, I saw the wanderer. From the summit of the world mountain he beckoned to me, to follow him. However I remained, faithful to my king.

5. Up above the wanderer collects fruit...

Chapter Nineteen

(Fragment)

1. You can indeed hear the songs of the blessed, accompanied by harps, flutes and timpani, if you listen to them!

2. And still more you can do if your will has strength.

3. Then you can leave the clothing of your world of this side and go to other worlds. And pay attention: all the dead you will meet there again-and they are young! And they...
